About Us

In 2022, we landed on Market Street in Venice with little more than a couch to sleep on and a single pair of shoes each. Before that, we had spent years running a yoga shala, living barefoot on the beach, immersed in community, movement, and mindfulness—never needing much beyond the ocean, our practice, and the people around us.

Our home and studio became a gathering space, a place for connection, yoga, and cacao. So when we arrived in Venice, it only felt natural to continue sharing. We started serving cacao to new friends, and before we knew it, we were walking through the Mar Vista Farmers Market, energized by the buzz of local vendors and community spirit. On a whim, we charmed our way into a one-day test, serving cacao to the neighborhood.

We had seen the magic of cacao in small cafés like Otti in Tulum, where it wasn’t just a drink—it was an experience, a ritual. As two curious kids from New York, we approached this journey with deep respect, ensuring we weren’t appropriating but simply sharing what had been a powerful tool in our own practice of self-inquiry and mindfulness. To us, cacao represents love and connection—something we intentionally cultivate in our daily lives.

Seeking guidance, we called a mentor from a cacao company we deeply admire, looking for permission, for direction. Their response?
"If you think you can tell the cacao what it will become, you haven’t sat with the cacao long enough."

That wisdom became part of our practice. We decided to show up honestly, authentically, and with open hearts, letting go of outcomes—meeting people, sharing the cacao we love, and seeing where the journey would take us.

Next thing we knew, other markets were calling. Coffee shops wanted our cacao. Stores wanted to stock the fruit. And then, someone said, "Make a website."

So here we are. We have no idea what comes next, but we’re grateful to have you along for the journey.
